DR. DRE AND WORLD CLASS WRECKIN’ CRU - HOUSE CALLS, 1987

No joke, this album is actually titled “Best of LA Techno Rap” and it’s so dope I’m probably going to post every track from it. I didn’t know the genre even existed until we dug it out of ZZZ Records overstock last weekend. This best of “La Trap” compilation wasn’t released until ‘93 but the House Calls single dates back to ‘87, and yes this is the same Dr. Dre that would soon give up doing house parties with the Cru and go on to deliver the Chronic with Snoop Dogg a few years later. Also, Ice Cube is apparently credited as “ghost writter” on the track too.
