DEBBIE DEB - WHEN I HEAR MUSIC, 1983

The freestyle electro classic “When I Hear Music” was the first song Debbie recorded after being discovered at the age of 16 while working at a record store in Miami. She co-wrote the song with her producer Pretty Tony, who along with the record label would eventually totally f her over by not providing proper compensation and denying her picture on record covers due to her weight. They even hired an impostor for performances to quickly earn money from her name.
