JOY DIVISION - ATMOSPHERE, Factory Records 1979

Originally recorded in October and November of 1979 and released as a France-only single under the title Licht Und Blindheit. Reissued on Factory Records in 1988 on the Substance compilation and as a stand alone single, with both album covers featuring Wim Crouwel’s New Alphabet typeface - designed in 1967 with the limitations of CRT monitor technology, containing only horizontal and vertical strokes.
