AU PAIRS - PRETTY BOYS, 1981
The b side to the Au Pairs fourth single from ‘81, the flip being the killer up-tempo “Inconvenience”. Fronted by outspoken feminist lesbian Lesley Woods, the Au Pairs sound is classic UK post punk, known for their scratchy guitars and funky rhythm section and influential for their male and female lineup with an outspoken take on sexual politics.
