MARY MÖÖR - PRETTY DAY, 1982

Rare French synth wave from the excellent BIPPP compilation. Mary Möor released this and just a handful of other minimal new wave 45’s on her label AAAA Records along with partner and early free jazz exponent Barney Willen who plays saxophone throughout the track. The single is also notable for being produced by artisté composer Guillaume Loizillon and computer enthusiast Claude Micheli, who together have collaborated on various electronic music projects under the name CY1.
