T SKI VALLEY - VALLEY STYLE, 1984
One of our favorite dollar bin finds ever. Valley Style is some fresh disco rap from ‘83 credited to G. Adams, T. Cox, and of course M. Jackson. Glen Adams is a producer and musician from Jamaica who worked with artists for Lee Scratch Perry before relocating to Brooklyn in the mid ’70s to set up his own Capo label. The track was mixed at Blank Tape studio in NYC by Bob Blank who has engineered albums for James Chance, Lydia Lunch, and Kid Creole and The Coconuts to name a few.
