“Hong Kong Garden” was the debut single from Siouxsie and the Banshees, released as a stand alone 7” in 1978 on the Polydor label. It was named after the Hong Kong Garden Chinese takeout restaurant that Siouxsie Sioux and her friends would frequent, written as a sort of tribute in response to witnessing skinheads mercilessly torment the owners for being foreigners.
